I Wrote So I Would Not Fade — The Book!

A book written from the wreckage

I Wrote So I Would Not Fade: Writings & Poems — Gathered From The Wreckage… These Words Wander In Search Of A Heart To Soften is a collection of poetry, prose, and intimate fragments written from a deeply personal place.

I began writing in January 2026 as a way to occupy my mind and translate what I was feeling into words before my thoughts went somewhere darker.

I was not trying to become a writer.

I was trying to remain present.

Eventually, those words became a book.

About the Book

This is not a book that offers easy answers.

It is not a neat story about healing.

It is a collection of words written through trauma, memory, fear, identity, exhaustion, survival, and the desperate need to be understood.

I wrote it after years of trying to be heard and feeling increasingly unseen.

At some point, I was done being silent.

So I wrote.

The book moves between poetry, reflective prose, and fragments because pain does not always arrive in complete sentences.

Some things are remembered in pieces.

Some feelings cannot be explained neatly.

And some words simply wander until they find a heart willing to soften.

Why I Wrote It

I wrote this book because I know what it feels like to feel completely alone while still surrounded by people.

I know what it feels like to be tired of explaining your pain.

I know what it feels like to ask for help and feel as though your voice disappears before anyone truly hears it.

More than anything, I want the person reading this book to feel seen.

I want them to feel heard.

I want them to know that they are not the only person in this world fighting in silence.

You do not have to carry everything alone.

A Note From Me

I am currently living through an urgent medical and personal crisis and am fundraising for the treatment and medical care I desperately need.

I want to be transparent: income from the sales of this book is intended to go toward my treatment and medical care.

I am not asking anyone to buy this book because I believe a book can fix everything.

I am asking because these words came from my attempt to hold on.

And I am still trying to find a way to continue holding on.

If you would like to learn more about my story and my current situation, you can read My Story — Why I Wrote So I Would Not Fade.
